Black Glutinous Porridge With Coconut Milk

Ingredients:
1 cup of black glutinous rice (about 140 gm)  -  wash and soak overnight.
100 gm of coconut sugar (‘Gula Melaka’)
4-5 pieces of pandan leaves
1 small bowl of coconut milk
6 bowls of water

Method:
1) Boil water. Add black glutinous rice and pandan leaves gradually to the boiling water. When this boils, turn to small fire and cook for about 3 hours.
2) Cook glutinous rice till it turns thick and sticky. Add in ‘Gula Melaka’ and cook for a little while.
3) When ready, serve glutinous rice with coconut milk according to taste.

 

椰香黑糯米粥

材料:
黑糯米 - 1杯(140克)(洗净、泡过夜)
椰糖 - 100克
班兰叶 - 4或5片
椰浆 - 1小碗
水 - 6碗

作法:
1)水煮沸后,徐徐加入黑糯米和班兰叶。水滚后转小火煮大约三个小时。
2)黑糯米已煮成浓稠状,加入椰糖,稍煮片刻即可。
3)食用时,椰浆可随各人喜好的份量而加。
